Verbs in Kansai-ben have only two pitch patterns.

All high and high at the end.

1️⃣ [low to high] always becomes [all high]LH → HH LHH → HHH LHHH → HHHH 2️⃣ [High to low] becomes [high at the end]HL → LH Exceptions 3️⃣ [High in the middle] becomes [all high] or [high at the end]LHL → HHH LHHL → HHHH LHHHL → HHHHH LHL → LLH LHHL → LLLH 4️⃣ Verb + noun [All high] doesn’t change [High at the end] becomes [all low]

聞く [きく]	to hear, listen
買う [かう]	to buy
知る [しる]	to know
いる [いる]	to be, exist
寝る [ねる]	to sleep
着る [きる]	to wear

LHH → HHH

開ける [あける] to open

使う [つかう] to use

探す [さがす] to search, look for

Standard : LHH

Kansai : HHH

座る [すわる]	to sit
洗う [あらう]	to wash
決める [きめる]	to decide
終わる [おわる]	to finish, end
変わる [かわる]	to change

LHHH → HHHH

始まる [はじまる] : to start

忘れる [わすれる] : to forget

Kansai : HHHH

2️⃣ [High to low] becomes [high at the end]

来る [くる] to come

見る [みる] to see

会う [あう] to meet
